Option to change the format of twitter updates, personal message, links, etc.
I think it would be great to have the option to change the format of text in status updates so that bands' updates can be more unique. For example, instead of the stock "Playing a show in (place) at (time) at (venue)", you could decide where to include that generated info. One could make it say instead, "Playing a rocking show tonight at (time) in (city) at (venue). Also instead of automatically including a link to the artistdata feed, it would be cool to be able to customize the link instead, perhaps, to link to our website's calendar page. Thoughts?… more

Send the concert information to european websites
The websites to wich my concert information was send did not cover european venues, only in the US. Would be great if artistdata would send the information to websites that also advertise concerts in Europe.

A tab with all the local media alerted about your gig
When one submits their show to the local media, there should be a list / tab available for the person to collect / check up on who published their event.

Make a Google Tour Map Widget
For a long time, bands have needed a customizable tour map generator. Something that takes a given XML/RSS or CSV concert data source (like ArtistDate), and geocodes the concerts onto a Google Map. This map could then be customized by the artist (size, satellite/political, zoom tool, etc.) and finally embedded onto any webpage they want. I've been looking for this for a long time!

Anyone interested in more UK support, please email support@artistdata.com and include what papers to add. We have had a hard time finding a good list, but are happy to add them when we get it.

Linkbar for artist website
Create a discrete & elegant flash link bar for artist website with (twitter, myspace, facebook, youtube, artistdata ... logos), size & color customisable, maybe this link bar could include a discrete scroll with the last news/blog entry and the next show.

Bring Back Reverbnation CSV export
The ability to simply export Shows from ArtistData.com in a format that can be imported into Reverbnation.com has been eliminated. BRING IT BACK.

push new releases and new artists to http://musicbrainz.org/
This will allow the freely available artist profile data to stay up to date and therefore feed many other sites who use MusicBrainz data.

Would love .csv compatibility with Gigpress for WordPress
Gigpress is a popular plugin for Wordpress that allows bands to display a calendar of shows on wordpress sites, as well as creates an rss feed. It supports .csv format for import/export, and it would be great if you could offer a file formatted to work with this plugin. This is the missing link for us, that would complete your service.

ArtistData for Venues
I know it's on the cards but sooner rather than later, please! Event info, direct ticket sales links, links to Artist's online stores, music downloads etc. Thank you!

setting a publish date for shows
Being able to schedule a date for a show to be published would be a good addition to the functionality of the service instead of selecting if an event is published or not published.

recurring dates, so you could repeat gigs every week/month
most calendars have this. That way if you have a recurring gig at say a restaurant over the summer you only have to enter it on 1 page. The current system works kinda, but you have to go through 2 pages for every repeat.

Soundcloud Integration
Would be great to have a link to Souncloud in the same area you link myspace / twitter / facebook.... etc. Soundcloud is how many electronic musicians are sharing tracks.

Update my sonicbids performance calendar
Along with MySpace and PureVolume, Sonicbids has an event calendar (amongst other things). Updating the Sonicbids calendar is incredibly important, due to the fact that each Sonicbids account is an artist's Online Press Kit. Linking ArtistData to Sonicbids will allow musicians to cut down on the number of repeated updates to various sites.

Make ArtistData's venue list available to it's users
When you type in a venue name for a gig, ArtistData already has the venue info in their database. By allowing AD users to view the venue database, the artist would be able to spend less time researching venues in an unknown city/state/country, spend more time booking gigs/tours at those venues, and would be able to post more activity on the ArtistData website. It's a win, win, win! Let's get'rr done!
